Special Visual Effects Division

Welcome to my VISUAL EFFECTS page!!  In addition to being involved in keep the art of model making and PRACTICAL VISUAL EFFECTS intact, I also have a hand in digital visual effects.  I see digital compositing and effects as a necessary tool in the grand toolbox of visual story telling. 

 I was invited to participate in a panel for visual effects at COMIC CON.  What great fun that was - we set up a live demonstration of green screen compositing.  Check back for updates!

"Experimental 1" The new shot in this is the opening 'bullet time eye'.  I threw this together from my other existing shots for a short film festival.

 Newest experiment of mine utilizing 3d Studio Max (the 3d models and animation) and After Effects (compositing and tracking), and Premiere Pro (eding/mixing). I'm working on some visual styles for my shortfilm in pre-production.

 As a filmmaker and director, I want to have the knowledge to create anything I would ever ask of anyone else.   This is why I spend much of my free time learning visual effects.  It helps me communicate much more effectively.
