These are replicas of the Scout UFOs seen in Close Encounters. I modeled NINE total ships. These are STL file sets for 3D printing.

The Close Encounters SCOUT UFO project is finished!! I modeled a total of NINE different scout ships, each splits in half at the perimeter with hollowed shells ready for mounting animating LED lighting effects. Print in filament or resin. Each UFO has some slots for lights, but customize as you see fit with additional drill holes for LEDs and/or slots for LED strips. Where needed, I engineered the parts fo separate, making printing and assembly easier. I'll have a full video introduction coming shortly. Who's going to be the first to print and light these? This represents 6 months of research. Thanks go out to Lou Z., Scott W., and Voodoo FX for their invaluable help with this project.
