Sample build-up of the 2025 updated model courtesy of Mr. Craig Lee. He has developed an inspired painting technique that starts the model off with blue hues, then he begins washes of grey and browns, with green patina hints. Thanks for the sample build, Craig!!
Craig has even go so far as to light up the belly cannons and cockpit features.

One of my favorite Sci Fi movies of all time! I went to an early screen ing of this movie and got to hang out with Jeff Goldblum, Brent Spiner, and Roland Emmerich after the show. What struck me most was the unique alien designs.
This is the Studio Scale Independence Day (ID4) Alien Attacker which was cast on the smaller film-used miniature. It's an absolutely HUGE model that is insanely detailed. The model is rotocast in high impact urethane resin so it's extremely strong. The finished model measures 26" long, 22" wide, and 10" tall, weighing in at about 7 pounds.

This brand new COCKPIT MODULE (11 parts) now ships FREE with each FULL KIT. It features 6 resin cast parts, 4 resin 3D printed parts, and a polystyrene laser etched/cut floor. This was beautifully designed in 3D, resin printed, and rubber molded. Quite an expensive task to be included free but it is in the kit now!
