SCARAB BEETLE
To the ancient Egyptians, the sacred scarab beetle was unquestionably the most important symbol and amulet for both rich and poor alike.
Widely used in ancient Egyptian religous and ceremonial rites, the sacred scarab beetle was worn on the body as a pendant, bracelet or necklace. The scarab's magical powers were believed to provide the wearer with powerful protection against evil, and to attract positive circumstances in this life and the next.
The scarab has been meticulously hand crafted and gold plated. It measures 2 1/4" body length and 1 3/4" side. That's 5.5 cm body length and 4.5 cm wide.
It is beautifully presented in a gold box with protective cotton batting above and below. It is further embellished with an information card about the scarab's mystical powers. It has a pin attached on the backside that instantly allows you to wear it as a pendant.
