If you're not having your Ark chrome plated, I advise painting your ark with one of these chroming solutions (combined with chrome mirrored acrylic for the side panels and mercy seat top)
1.) ALUMALUSTER (the best!) 2.) MOLOTOW (very good!) 3.) SPAZ TIX PAINTS 4.) Alclad and then clear coating with an automotive transluscent candy coat called CALIFORNIA GOLD.
This is how the ark2020 is shipped. First each piece is carefully wrapped three times, then packed very tightly in 2 or 3 jumbo boxes.

HOW IT WAS MADE:
What differentiates the Ark2020 from my orignal replica, is the design of it's construction. The MERCY SEAT was carefully engineered as 4 separate rails with each leaf individually printed and molded in place on the top and bottom of each rail. This not only makes for much sharper definition, but it makes assembly much easier. As separte rails, this also allows for easier gold chroming. The corner seamlines are hidden by contoured corner leaves. The flat TOP of the lid is now deconstructed, leaving the double row of leaves as separate pieces. This allows you to use a gold mirrored sheet of acrylic as the flat top.
The newly engineered parts were all made first as digital sculptures that were printed, cleaned and molded.
The corner posts, instead of being completely separate parts, were completely re-sculpted and printed as SINGLE units. The corners are now ONE PIECE including the post, the finial and the feet.
In other words, wherever it made the Ark easier to assemble/look more accurate, parts were either taken apart, or combined. You'll see what I mean about the blending of engineering changes:
Each section of the new ark was modeled in 3D CAD.
I've been working on the Ark2020 for 9 months and we're FINALLY at the molding stage.
