ALIENS LV-426 VEHICLE
Welcome to the Aliens LV-426 Vehicle webpage. This is a dedication to master futurist artist Ron Cobb. I love all of Cobb's amazing designs. This vehicle can be seen parked in the exterior scenes of the Hadley's Hope Colony. I reproduced this vehicle as a printable 3D mesh.
There's much material on this project on my FACEBOOK PAGE.
Pictured above is the film-used model used in ALIENS. Photos courtesy of our friends at the propstore of London.
This is a 3D print project in STL format. The model is scaled at 12" wide at its widest section. You can, of course, rescale the model smaller or larger depending on your printer. Print in either FDM or SLA formats.
The main parts are KEYED to help orient parts during construction.
This model will be ready to send out the first week in November 2024.
File set includes:
- 6 tires (separate tires for rear)
- 2 caps for rear tires
- body front (hollowed and keyed for assembly)
- body middle (keyed for assembly)
- body rear (keyed for assembly)

- PDF templates for the windows (print, cut and trace onto clear material)

- driver chair
- cockpit/cabin module (includes floor, front and side consoles, back wall and sides all in one piece that slides into the body front)

Use either wood or metal rods to create your axels.
