Welcome to the Ralph McQuarrie CONCEPT SNOW SPEEDER page. Ralph has always been my favourite designer and I was lucky enough to meet him and tell him in person.
This webpage features a replica I created from scratch - his concept SNOW SPEEDER. Ralph went through MANY designs for this aircraft, and you can see the final shape evolve in his many paintings. My favorite ESB pre production painting features two of these snow speeders flanking a fallen AT-AT. I took most of my design cues from this illustration.

The snow speederscaled to fit my elegoo Jupiter, which makes it about 1:18th scale. It is available as a DIGITAL MODEL (stl file set). It can be printed on FDM or resin machines.
The McQuarrie snow speeder breaks down into 10 parts. Parts include:
- MAIN BODY
- LEFT WING
- RIGHT WING
- PILOT
- LEFT THRUSTER
- RIGHT THRUSTER
- LEFT CANNON
- RIGHT CANNON
- CANOPY
- REAR HEAT SHIELD
The model features a full blown INTERIOR and includes a free pilot figure. The pilot figure is configured to fit deep into the cockpit seat moldings.
