Lifesized FONDOR HAUL SHIP AI EYEPIECE from ANDOR
This is a really cool design that stood out to me instantly! I had to put one on my wall. One of you builders might consider animating it with servos (rotating lenses, rotating eyeball)
This is available as both a physical model and an STL set for your to print at home. It measures 8 inches at it's widest so it will easily FDM print on a machine as small as an ender 3.
The STL kit includes:
- baseplate
- eye (2 versions, one trimmed, one full)
- lens array baseplate
- lens array (3 connected lenses)
- 3 lenses (can be fdm printed in clear)
- 2 lense brackets
I kept assembly and painting in mind when designing this model. I separated out the body for easier painting and the lense array is completely separated out to allow for LED ligting and separate component painting.

This started out as an exercise in 3D modeling and within a week I had my first 3D print.
